How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your RivalMe account directly from within the app:

    • Open RivalMe and go to your Profile tab.
    • Tap the Settings gear icon.
    • Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
    • Tap Delete Account.
    • You will be asked to re-authenticate with your password for security.
    • After re-authentication, confirm the deletion.

      • What Gets Permanently Deleted

      When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:

    • Your rank and achievements -- all contest wins, podium placements, and earned titles.
    • Wallet balance -- any remaining balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered. If your balance is $5 or more, you will see a specific forfeiture warning before confirming.
    • All submissions and likes -- every photo, video, and interaction you've made.
    • Account data and history -- your profile, username, and all associated records.

      • Important Notes

    • Deletion is permanent. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.
    • Re-authentication is required. For your security, you must verify your identity before deletion proceeds.
    • Some minimal data may be retained as required by law (e.g., transaction or audit logs), as described in our Privacy Policy.
