How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your RivalMe account directly from within the app:
- Open RivalMe and go to your Profile tab.
- Tap the Settings gear icon.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Verify your identity when prompted.
- Confirm the deletion request.
- Profile and account data: your profile, username, and account records.
- Content and interactions: your posts, uploaded media, likes, follows, and other account-linked activity. Comments may be deidentified where removing them would disrupt an existing conversation.
- Ranks and achievements: contest wins, placements, scores, and earned titles.
- Credits balance: any remaining Credits are forfeited and cannot be recovered.
- You have 30 days to cancel. Sign in again before the scheduled deletion date to cancel the request.
- Final deletion cannot be reversed. After the cancellation period ends and the purge completes, the account cannot be restored.
- Some restricted or deidentified records may remain. We may retain aggregate or deidentified results and records needed for fraud prevention, safety, legal obligations, disputes, redemption, tax, or accounting purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
What Happens After Your Request
Your account is scheduled for deletion after a 30-day cancellation period, and the app signs you out. Signing back in during that period cancels the request and restores the account.
After the cancellation period ends, the final deletion is permanent. We remove account data from active systems, including:
We also complete applicable deletion steps for account-linked analytics providers. Provider systems may need additional time to finish processing a verified request.
